He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Q., Sr. and Helen Smoyer (Pope); and his grandson Michael Smoyer. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Yingst of Hummelstown, David (Janice Smoyer) of Grantville and Tina (Jay Hileman) of Palmyra. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
