He was predeceased by: his parent Ernesto Perez Santiago. He is survived by: his parent Palmyra Velez Perez; his wife Helene Y. Stout Perez; his daughter Monique D. Portser (Doran) of Hummelstown; his grandchildren, Alexis G. Portser of Hummelstown, Isabella B. Portser of Hummelstown and Ryan A. Portser of Hummelstown; his half-siblings, Elizabeth Brady, Amparo Bridgeforth, Muncy Torres, Mita Ayala, Abigail Torres, Steven Santiago and Ferdinand Torres; and also Brown of Hummelstown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
