It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Shupp (Palmyra, Pennsylvania), born in McVeytown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 12, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Blaine and Verna Elizabeth Reed (Kirby); her daughter Carolyn Carpenter; her brothers, James Reed, Joe Reed and Fred Reed; her stepson Dale K. Shupp; and her former husband John E. Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Shupp; her son Gary Miller (Pat) of Lebanon; her son-in-law Fred Carpenter of Palmyra; her stepson Dana R. Shupp; her grandchildren, Mike, Michelle and Johnny; her stepgrandchildren, Corey, Cody and Chelsea; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Hunter, Caitlyn, Ryan and Colson; her siblings, Bill Reed of Newton Hamilton, PA, Tom Reed of Altoona, PA and Jane Pollock of Palmyra; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Shupp (Lucy) of Reading.
