He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Hartzell (Halko); his parents, Harold Hartzell and Rea Hartzell (Christman); and his brother Levan Hartzell. He is survived by: his sister Linda (Walter Brearman) of Slatington; and his stepbrothers, Carl Hartzell and David Hartzell (Eleanor).
