She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Mullen and Eva Mullen (Snyder); and her brother Leonard Mullen. She is survived by: her husband Elwood Shimmel; her daughters, Wendy (Tim Weighknecht) of Northampton, PA, Karrie Shimmel of Walnutport and Kellie (Michael Curry) of Bethlehem; her grandsons, Tanner, Connor Weighknecht and Jonathan Shimmel; and her siblings, Connie Smith, Shirley Killian, Jack, John and Mert Mullen.
