He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen Gerneth (Jordan); his children, Lisanne G. Smith (Brad) and Megan G. Bergmann (Peter); his grandchildren, Caroline, Charlie, Cooper, Otto, Hugo and Annelies; and his sister Dr. Jane Garboden (Richard).
