He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Burford and Florence Hetrick Burford; his spouse Clydine Gerheim; his son Steven Burford; and his siblings, Cleo "Jock", Warren, Tom, Wilmer "Bill", Paul, Malcolm "Mack", Ethel Horne, Alva Neiswonger, Anna Mae Evans and Kay Hepler.
He is survived by: his children, Darren Burford (Tara) and Kim Guthrie; his grandchildren, Jason Guthrie, Brenna Guthrie, Gage Burford, Taryn Lascari, McKenzie Burford, Steven Burford, Heather Truitt and Hope McDaniels; his great grandchildren, Avery, Gavin Guthrie, Gianna, Gino Lascari, Griffin, Grayson Truitt, Shania McDaniel, Crew Adams, Hayes and Brinley Wright; and his great great grandchild Ridge McDaniel.
