He is survived by: his wife Karen Vivo Hartley; his parent Patricia Hartley (Sankey); his sons, Alexander Hartley of Denver, CO and Andrew Hartley; his brother Peter Hartley (Cathy) of Edgemead; his grandchildren, Jennifer Marsh and Justin Marsh; his sister Georgia Haye (Willy) of Sandbaai; and also, South Africa and Carmen.
