He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his sons, Richard (Laurie) and Matthew. He is survived by: his children, Colleen Brown (Steve), Marcy, Robert (Kim), Brian, Maureen Martin (Chris), Megan Gunder (John), Sharon Scassero (Tracy), Tricia Carmody (Mike), Mary Kate Kramer (Trent) and Erin Slivak (John); his parents, Katherine Whelan and Samuel Lawn; and his siblings, Samuel Lawn, John Lawn, Thomas Lawn, William Lawn, Robert Lawn and Paul Lawn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, 38 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
