He is survived by: his children, Robert Hankey (Carol) and Tammy Barlock (Timothy); his brother Clyde Hankey (Pat); his sister-in-law Doris Hankey; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hankey (Christina), Lauren Hankey and Tyler Barlock (Mary Ann Pici).
