She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Elmer and Viola Rosetta Evans (Bookamer); her son Kirk Carlson; her former husband Michael A. Carlson; and her brothers, Jack Arnold Evans, William E. Evans, James Douglas Evans and Robert Bruce Evans.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kristin Carlson of Penn Trafford and Kate Zavacky (Jason) of White Oak; and her brother Thomas Evans (Diane) of Port Vue. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
