It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lon Bayer of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Bayer and Lavernna LaRue Bayer (Logan). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Bayer (Liller); his stepsons, James and John Cole; and his sisters, Karen Thomas (George), Vicki Prop and Sheila Armstrong (Eugene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
