He was predeceased by: his parent Biagio LoMonaco; his great-nieces, Regina and Ruth; and also Ciali. He is survived by: his parent Michela LoMonaco; his wife Elvira LoMonaco; his children, Jessica Averardi and Anthony LoMonaco; his siblings, Barbara Toscano (Ignazio) and Charles LoMonaco; his nieces and nephews, Maria, Michela, Armando, Michael and Joseph; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sofia, Luca, Siena, Isabella, Alessandro, Charlie and Elle.

Donations in Vito's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
