She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Flynn of Germantown; and her parents, Thomas Brett and Margaret Frain Brett. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Flynn (Carolyn), Sean Flynn (Anne), Meganne Borneman (Bradley) and Eireann Flynn (William); her grandchildren, Charlotte Cunningham (Connor), Malcolm Flynn, Fergus Flynn, Grace Flynn, Max Flynn, Colin Borneman, Macklin Borneman, Margaret Anne Borneman, Jane Borneman, Flynn Marzarella, Henry Marzarella, Miles Marzarella and Edward Marzarella; her great grandchild Virginia Brett Cunningham; and her siblings, Tommy (Joanne), Jack (Kay), Kate (Victor), Peggy (Ray), Nancy (Joe) and Maureen (Bernie). She is also survived by her family and the many nieces and nephews.
