She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis S Carnes and Maugarette Carnes. She is survived by: her children, Maugarette L. Gerns (Canon Andrew), Frances J. (Jeff) and Nicholas B. M. (Dawn); her grandchildren, Robert A. Gerns, Jamie A. Allbritton (John), William Bowen (Sam), Audra C., Nicholas and Haley; and her brother Francis S. Carnes, Jr. (Patricia). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
