She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nelson and Kathryn M. Beattie; and her spouse W. Haines Dickinson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas H. Dickinson and Robert B. Dickinson (Susie); and her grandsons, Mark Dickinson (Lindsay Root) and Greg Dickinson.
