She was predeceased by: her father Leroy VanHousen; her husband Tracy Tompkins; her son John Tompkins; and her siblings, Gerald, Earl, Kendall VanHousen, Jane Whitesell and Louise Covey.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Malkemes (Don), Lawrence Tompkins (Lisa) of Montrose, PA and Phil Tompkins (Betty) of Hallstead, PA; her grandchildren, Tracy Malkemes, Curt Malkemes (Julia), Lawrence Tompkins (Alicia), Lydia Vincent (Aaron), Sara Tompkins (Jason) and Tony Tompkins (Tiffany); her great grandchildren, Emma Tompkins, Grant, Stella and Lena Vincent; and her sister-in-law Emma Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1492 N. Plank Rd., Montrose, PA 18801 or Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
