He was predeceased by: his grandmother Alice Gillett; his parents, George Gillett Sr. and Leah Rice (Gillett); and his siblings, George Gillett Jr., Richard Gillett and Donald Gillett.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Nanni, Tony Nanni, Rose Jones and Rick Jones; his grandchildren, Nicole Nanni, Steven Brunner, Anthony Nanni and Michayla Berard; and his siblings, Diana Howard and Patricia Gillett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion.
