He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Ramsey Yobp (Albert) and Ralph Reed; his son William Jr.; his daughter-in-law Karolyn; his granddaughter Karla O'Maille; his great grandchild Adam O'Maille; his sister LaRue Miller (Ray); his nephew Jim Miller; and his stepdaughters, Candy Greco and Caren Cinpinski.
He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Pearl Bowser; his wife Marie Theis Schott; his children, Kathleen Alter (Keith), Fred Reed (Patti), Rebecca Montanari (Ken) and Rachel English (Michael); his stepdaughter Cathy Domitrovic; and his niece Judy West (Charles). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
