She was predeceased by: her father Bob Scholze; and her granddaughters, Jami and Jennifer McKruit. She is survived by: her husband John A. Merrick II; her children, John A. Merrick III (Shannon), Cristen Speedy (Brian), Susan McKruit (Jason) and Robert Merrick (Valerie); her grandchildren, Nick Speedy (Tristen), Sara Speedy, Hannah Speedy, Samantha Geracia (Dede) of Tyler Merrick, AJ, Noah McKruit and Vivian Padron Merrick; her great grandchild Elijah McKruit; and her brother Gary Scholze (Denise).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Roberta to Bethel Nursery School, 150 Alder St., Lower Burrell.
