He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelley and Edith Kelley; his wife Nancy J. (Cowen); his son Michael Kelley; his granddaughter Crystal Kelley; and his siblings, Hannah Belle Krause (Michael), Edith Fairbank (Richard) and Robert Kelley.
He is survived by: his children, John W. Kelley Jr. (Ruth) of Baltimore, Toni Lee Phillips (David) of Lower Burrell, Lori Ziencik (Eric) of Frazer Township and Dena Kelley Rocco of Plum; and his sister-in-law Shirley Kelley of Apollo. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
