He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Smoker and Anna Lapp Smoker; and his spouse Rheta E. Newswanger Smoker. He is survived by: his children, Clair L. Smoker of Honey Brook, Betty L. (Roger L. Shenk) of Hillsboro, WV, J. Lester (Twila J. Smoker) of New Holland and Ronald L. (Charlotte A. Smoker) of Terre Hill. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
