He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Shuman and Ruth E. Eshleman Shuman. He is survived by: his children, James R. Shuman, Jr. (Kathleen) of Middletown, PA and Annette L. Liew (Thomas) of Easton, PA.; and his sister Ruth Cunningham (Paul) of Lancaster, PA.. He is also survived by six grand children and 8 great-grand children.
