She is survived by: her children, Sally Palkovich (Mark) of New Castle, PA, Deborah Laitinen of New Castle, PA, Deanna Laitinen of New Castle, PA, Nancy Lewis (Ralph) of Florida and Samuel V. Laitinen, Jr. of Austin, TX; and her granddaughter Amber Kuttesch.
