She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DeCarbo and Constance Maielli DeCarbo; her husband Jack E. Mitchell; and her brothers, Thomas DeCarbo and Charles "Buddy" DeCarbo.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Mitchell (Gayle) of New Castle and Robert Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister Connie Brooks of Florida; her grandchildren, Lisa Marie Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Bonnie Nichols and Patrick Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Nichols, Isabella Nichols, Sofia Santangelo, Gavin Mitchell and Jocelyn Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
