She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Stair and Esther Stair (Rinehimer); and her brother Alfred Stair. She is survived by: her husband Rudolph D. "Boots" Chapin; her children, Donald Chapin (Joann), Karen Lear (Mark), Eugene Chapin (Kathy), Aileen Lear (Walter), Linda Henger and Jeff Chapin; her siblings, Carl Stair and Judy Nobel; and her sister-in-law Shirley Stair. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
