It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Longenbach of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Transue and Grace K. Transue (Trapp); her husband George S. Longenbach; and her siblings, John, George, Alfred, Robert, Sally Anthony, Carol Transue and Sandra Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary E. (Russell Furry) of Nazareth, PA and Carol A. (Edward Stout) of Stockertown, PA; her sisters, Jean (Larry Long) of Nazareth, PA, Joan Schoeneberger of Northampton, PA and Diane Counterman of Bangor, PA; her grandchildren, Jamie, Jeremy, Andrew, Austin, Jahnessah, Julie and Katie; and her great grandchildren, Reily, Landon, Caiden and Connor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The public is asked to continue to follow social distancing guidelines along with the wearing of facial coverings.
