It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura Mae Treese (Nanty Glo, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Leis and Katherine Leis (Greenlees); her husband Larry Treese; her parents-in-law, Allen and Helen Treese; and her great-nephew Ayden Leis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Leonard Jury (Karen), Charles Leis (Nancy), Maurey Leis, Robert Leis (Pam) and Margaret Pierce (Carl); her stepdaughter Lisa Mock; and her close friend Stephen Whitcomb (Coolio). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, their partners; and 15 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Laura's memory.
