He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Przywara and Stella Bogdan Przywara; his son Joseph C. Przywara Jr.; his siblings, Frank, John Przywara and Julia Fine; his daughter-in-law Doris Przywara; and his sister-in-law Aileen Michalski (O'Rourke).
He is survived by: his wife Joan O'Rourke; his children, Robert J. Przywara (Mary Gordon) of Scranton and Lisa Bonar (Daren) of Hackettstown, NJ; his daughter-in-law Lisa Przywara (Wall) of Nanticoke; his grandchildren, Michael Przywara, Jarod Przywara and Ashlee Przywara of Nanticoke; his siblings, Ann Eroh (Ronald) of West Nanticoke and Leonard Przywara (Deborah) of Mountaintop; and his cousin Leo Bogdan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending visitation at the funeral home are asked to wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital or Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Joseph's memory.
