He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Theodore "Butch" and Linda Emerick. He is survived by: his parents, Earl Smith III and Sylviesue Smith (Emerick); and his siblings, Christian Emerick of Muncy, Aidan Smith of Muncy, Mason Smith of Muncy, Alicea Smith of Muncy and Reece Smith of Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Xavier's memory be made to Grenoble Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs.
