She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Berkheimer and Viola Berkheimer (Keefer); her former husband Wilmer S. Dewire; her son-in-law Raymond Paige, Sr.; and her brother Robert Berkheimer.
She is survived by: her husband Sheldon A. Laylon; and her children, Dennis Dewire (Mary) of Watsontown, David Dewire (Lonnie) of Hughesville, Connie Robbins (Glenn) of Watsontown, Bonnie Plymette (Dennis) of Mechanicsburg and Debra Paige of Watsontown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
