She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Adams and Florence Adams (Umstead); her grandson Joshua Wade Biddle; and her siblings, Frank, Dean Adams, Alice Aikey and Rene High.
She is survived by: her husband Lester J. "Joe" Dewald; her children, Steven L. Dewald (Susie K.) of Exchange, Michael D. Dewald (Deb) of Turbotville and Lisa J. Laidacker (Gary) of Hughesville; and her sisters, Doris Rogers of Hughesville, Mary Lou Byers of Exchange and Ora Winfield of Muncy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory be made to the Thyra M. Humphrey Breast Center, 210 JPM Road, Lewisburg PA 17837.
