He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Day and Mary L. Beiber Day; and his brother Wayne Day. He is survived by: his wife Carol Day (Moore); his children, Camille Day of Lancaster, Cameron M. Day II (Denise) of Danville and Wayne E. Day (Angel) of Millville; his stepchildren, Dennis J. Moore (Stephanie) of Watsontown, Jennie McHenry (Michael) of Montgomery, Joshua Moore (Tasha) of Hughesville and Shawn Moore (Kiersten) of Montgomery; and his siblings, Cynthia Blum of Lewisburg and David. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen step-grandchildren, and eight great step-grandchildren.
