He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Conty and Helen Dorich Conty; his brothers, Philip and John Conty; and his brothers-in-law, James Camptella and Ted Janicki.
He is survived by: his significant other Jeannie Farrah Conty; his children, Anna Marie Conty Moats and Joseph L. Conty Jr.; his grandchildren, Cassandra, Vanessa and Zachary Moats; his siblings, Ronald Conty (Jane), Mary Catherine Camptella, Betty Conty and Romaine Janicki; his sisters-in-law, Irene Conty, Maryann Farrah, Patty Farrah, Judy Farrah, Ruthie Farrah and Susie Farrah; his nephew Tony Conty; and his niece Mary Catherine Janicki. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to St. Pius X RC Church in memory of Joseph Conty Sr. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galone-Caruso Funeral Home, 204 Eagle Street, Mt. Pleasant.
