It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Paul Chasarik of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Chasarik and Frances Bogach Chasarik; his sisters, Eleanor, Anna and Josephine; and his close friend Ed Swierczeski.

He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Pfeil and Shannon Hoffman (Martin); his grandchildren, Nolan, Reagan Pfeil, Gwen and Tatum Hoffman; and his niece Rebecca Gediminskas-Kalberer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Tunnel to towers or St. Jude Children's Hospital in loving memory of John P. Chasarik.
