He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmine Theresa and Maria Theresa; his significant other Carmella; his siblings, Chiarina (Giovanni), Assunta (Francesco), Antonio (Rinda), Raimondo (Gilda), Ettore (Rosa), Emilio (Marietta) and Fiorino (Silvana); and his cousin Ernesto (Josephine).
He is survived by: his brother Anardo (Rita); his sons, Ottavio Jr. (Linda) and Michael (Lisa); his grandchildren, Isabella, Stephanie, Nicole, Nicholas and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Mike, Jade, Sean, Dominic, Ylonvieux and Harley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
