He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Babcock; his wife Lois Marie Babcock (Hughes); and his siblings, Catherine Molenko, Ella Rosengrant, Robert Babcock and Eldon Babcock.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Birchard (Dennis) of Birchardville, PA and Diane Prentice (Chris) of Friendsville, PA; his grandchildren, Shaloam Dyer (Evan), Chantal Castellano (Justin), Chapin Birchard, Josh Prentice and Caleb Prentice; his siblings, Vera Blaisure and Donald Babcock (Marilyn); and his sister-in-law Mary Babcock. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
