He is survived by: his wife Alice Whitney (Slocum); his children, Lorraine Welch (Larry), Loren Whitney (Carla) and Lesley Stonier (Roger); his grandchildren, Thomas Welch (Karen), Nicholas Welch (Sarah), Daniel Welch (Amanda), Denise Snow (Scott), Michael Whitney (Kaitlyn), Timothy Stonier, Paul Sinclair, Carissa O'Connor (Brian) and Gregory Stonier (Shauna); his great grandchildren, Addison, Lillian, Nolan, Reya, Laura, Ashlyn, Mitchell, Patrick, Alice and Jane; and his brothers, Douglas (Mary) of Scranton, PA. and Jeffery (Shari) of Heart Lake, PA..
