He was predeceased by: his parent Jesse Sr.; and his siblings, Jesse Dewalt, Jr., Melvin Dewalt, Willard Dewalt, David Dewalt, Elwood Dewalt, Edward Dewalt, Alberta Pysher, Emma Temple, Melva Dewalt, Jessie Pennycoff, Helen Dewalt and Hazel Dewalt.

He is survived by: his parent Bessie Dewalt, Sr. (Canada); and his spouse Peggy A. Dewalt (Whitmoyer).
