He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy I. Grater and Anna M. Mourot Grater; and his son Guy F. Grater. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Grater (Gecina); his children, Barbara G. Nelson, Mark A. Grater, West and Gary M. Grater (Cindy Truax Grater) of Monaca; his brothers-in-law, Frank Gecina (Sylvia) of Corvalis and Anthony Gecina (Cindy) of Monaca; and his niece Dr. Laura Gecina (Andrew Chang).
Due to Covid-19 restrictions the family wishes to have a private wake and blessing service Tuesday afternoon in the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc. Entombment will be in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum. Family wishes memorial contributions be made to honor his commitment to community service due to the covid 19 situations occuring.
