With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Ruscavage of Minersville, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 17, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Schafer and Mary Schafer; her husband Charles "Rusty" Ruscavage; and her siblings, Melvin Schafer, Georgine Motley, Lois Pangonis, Carl Schafer and Harold R. Schafer.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Smith (Richard), Andrea Bowerman (William), Charles Ruscavage III (Susan), Pamela Slane (Kerry), Virginia, Gayle Markowski (Michael) and Andrew Ruscavage (Lori); her grandchildren, Richard, Eric, Pamela, Joshua, Courtney, Kimberly and Michael (Amanda); and her brothers, Bruce Schafer and Ronald "Skip" Schafer. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
