It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Helen Walacavage (Minersville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her brother John; and her parents, John Land and Stella Land (Bartnisky). She is survived by: her daughters, Joanne Murphy (Francis), Cathy Andrachick (John), Mary Beth Kievman (Jason) and Laurie Hess (Larry); her grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, Matt, Shane, Caitlin, Cody, Wyatt and Connor; her stepgranddaughter Jill; and her great grandchildren, Dexter, Caitriona, Collin, Alannah, Everly and Josie.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jo's name to Hillside SPCA, 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
