We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2021, at the age of 82, John Purcell (Minersville, Pennsylvania), born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Purcell and Valeria Subasavage Purcell; his wife Janet DiRenzo; his son John A. Purcell; and his brother Paul Purcell.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Fellows (H. Bruce Fellows) and Michael Paul Purcell (Jaclyn); his grandchildren, Jordan Fellows (Nicole), Jillian Fellows, Jack, Sophie and Ellie Purcell; his great grandchild Leo Fellows; his sister Margaret Purcell Sherwood (Leslie); and his nephew Matthew Sherwood.
The family would prefer that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Holy Family Parish of Minersville or The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Kaska St., Middleport, PA 17953.
