It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Murphy of Minersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Bluis and Anna Bluis; her husband Ronald J. Murphy, Sr.; her son Ronald J. Murphy, Jr.; her granddaughters, Lauren Murphy and Mackenzie O'Brien; and her brother Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Ecker, Laurie Murphy (Scott Rhody) and Kenneth Murphy (Erin); her grandchildren, Drew, Ian Murphy, Shane O'Brien (Loren), Luke Murphy (Molly Dinich), Zachary Bitting (Jessica Borden) and Kailee Lubrano (Dominick); her brother Anthony T. Bluis (Patricia); and her brother-in-law Jack Murphy (Betty). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
The family prefers donations to the Minersville Area School District, to be apportioned between the Lauren Murphy Memorial Fund and the Mackenzie O'Brien Scholarship Fund.
