She was predeceased by: her parent Harold Hess; her siblings, Donald Hess, Marqueen Bankes and Phyllis Martz; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Snader and Tyler Snader.
She is survived by: her parent Atta Hess (Karns); her husband Edwin; her children, Ray Kremer of Danville, Barry Kremer (Bonnie) of Danville, Rebecca Squier (Carl) of Milton, Ellen McWilliams (Timothy) of Danville, Alice Satteson (Roger) of Milton, Pamela Knapp (Jere) of Danville and Crystal Hagenbuch (Carey) of Danville; and her sister Janet Rice of New Freeport. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
