He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dorothy Eaton and Jeanne Sauers. He is survived by: his sons, John Spangler III (Rita) of Williamsport, Mark Spangler of Philadelphia and Matthew Spangler (Laura) of Milton; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jones of John Spangler, Stephanie Paulhamus and Logan Spangler; his great grandchildren, Blake Spangler, Sofia Jones and Leah Spangler; and his brother Timothy Spangler (Carole) of New Berlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
