He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl W. Brouse Sr. and Ethal Hartman Brouse; his wife Maxine Griffith Brouse; his sons, Scott Brouse (Sherry) of West Milton, Ed Brouse (Lisa) of Tucson and Tom Brouse of Turbotville; his grandchildren, Hannah, Abbey, Alex, Emily, Brianna, Tori and Olivia; his great grandchild Lylah Mae; his sister Patricia Brouse Wagner of Roanoke; his half-siblings, Chuck Brouse and Carol Snyder; and his daughter-in-law Tanya Brouse.
