He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene L. and Lois; and his children, Bradley, Jeremy, Faith, Charity and Lavina.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ann Cooper; his granddaughter Sabrina Rodriguez (Manuel); his children, Savannah, Leonidas of Beech Creek, Angela Blank (Kevin), Stella, Jabez, Hosea of Uganda and Travis Hartzler; his grandsons, Dominick, Desmond of Mifflinburg and Brandon Hartzler (Mariah); his children, Aniyah, Bella, Hailey, Judah of Turbotville, Josh Hartzler (Erica), Zane and Peyton of Milton; and his siblings, Joyce Stauffer (Larry), Sharon Medors (Ed), Linda Halteman (Ray), Miriam Zimmerman (Earl) and Daniel Hartzler (Judi). He is also survived by six children.
