He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fisher and Sara Fisher (Hollen); his wife Lois A. Shively of Laurelton; his siblings, Rev. Herbert Fisher (Mary), Julia Barner (Bruce), Helen Nissley (Simon), Pearl Heltman (Harry), Chester "Mike" Fisher (Evelyn), Clara Chapman (Floyd), Margaret Barzona (Frank) and Harris Fisher (Catherine); and his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Gillin.
He is survived by: his children, Ardena "Dena" Gillin of Mill Hall and Barry R. Fisher (Teri) of Mill Hall; his sister Mary (Richard); his grandchildren, Robert R. Gillin, Kathryn L. Gillin, Erica L. Bischof (Mike) and Andrea R. Roupp (Jason); his great grandchildren, Miya Gillin, Noah Gillin, Tyler Bischof, Jonathan Bischof and Kylie Lozensky; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Samantha Roupp.
Memorial contributions in Russell's name may be made to Hillview Wesleyan Church.
