She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Fravel and Grace Stevenson Fravel; her siblings, Alverdia Laubach, Connie Weaver, Melvin, Harold, Donald and Elmer Fravel; and her half-sister Esther Lannen.

She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Houser, Sr.; her children, Richard Houser, Jr. (Trudy) of Mill Hall, Thomas E. Houser (Karen) of Mill Hall, Harry S. Houser (Pam) of Mill Hall, Vickie Cross (Ron Laubscher) of Avis and Betty A. Lamey (Douglas) of Flemington; and her siblings, Ken Fravel of Lock Haven and Sara Fravel of Woolrich. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 7 great, great grandchildren.
